Why should I choose you to create or update my website?

I'm a detail oriented website designer whose main goal is to create the perfect website for you while making your experience easy and stress free. The website I create for you will give you and your business a professional appearance and be memorable to your visitors.

I also thoroughly test your website on various browsers to be sure it displays properly for all of your visitors.

I can answer all of these questions for you by performing a Website Evaluation on your website and check design, layout, ease of use, graphics optimization, pages that need to be added or changed and much more. My evaluation will focus on making a website that will attract visitors, and keep them on your site. This will give you the best opportunity to get your message across to visitors, and increase the chances of visitors buying your products or services. You will receive a written evaluation of all aspects of your website and all of my suggested changes. I'll also include a price estimate for all of these changes.

How long will it take to make my website?

That depends on the size and complexity of your site. On average, it will take between 4 and 5 weeks.

What does it cost?

This depends on how complex you want your website to be. I will give you a free price quote before any work begins. As soon as you approve the price quote, and make your payment, work will begin on your website. Nonprofit organizations receive a 10% discount.

Testing of your website on various browsers to insure compatibility across the Internet.
No long term contract. After I create your website I can maintain it for you, you can maintain it yourself, or hire someone else to do it for you.

Will I be able to see my website on the Internet before I give final approval?

Yes. When your website is ready to view it will be put on a site where you can look at it and any necessary changes can be made. You'll see exactly what your website will look like to your visitors. This gives you a much better representation of your site than printed layouts or storyboards. You can also easily and quickly see any changes you may have requested.

Then, when the site meets with your approval it will be sent to you on a CD or loaded on the proper server for the world to see.

Can you maintain, update or redesign my website?

Yes, I can do this for you. I can add or remove pages from your site and update information, or make any other changes you desire. I don't use a contract for this, but simply charge by the hour. My rate is $60 an hour with a 1-hour minimum. If you pay for 5 hours in advance I will give you a 6th hour free.

Can you write the copy for my website?

If you need copy written for your website that will promote your business and services, I can do this too. As a writer with over 30 years of experience, I can give you copy that will be sharp, snappy and tell visitors to your site exactly what you want them to know. Writing for websites requires special skills unique to the Internet. I've had many of my articles published on the Internet by numerous websites. Many of the articles I have on The Creative Cauldron are read by 300 to 500 people each month. I can make this same compelling copy for you.
